Dr. Harry has been widely recognized in many of today’s notable publications as the principal architect of Six Sigma and the world’s leading authority within this field. His book entitled Six Sigma: “The Breakthrough Management Strategy Revolutionizing the World’s Top Corporations” was listed on the National Best Seller lists of the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Business Week. He has been a consultant to many of the world’s top CEOs, such as Jack Welch, former CEO and Chairman of General Electric Corporation and Robert “Bob” Galvin, former CEO and Chairman of Motorola. Dr. Harry has also been a featured guest on popular television programs, such as the premier NBC show “Power Lunch.” He is often quoted in newspapers like USA Today and interviewed by the media, such as The Economic Times and numerous professional journals like Quality Digest and the Journal for Healthcare Quality.
Dr. Harry is an Honorary Chairman of the United States Congressional Business Advisory Council and recipient of the Congressional Order of Merit. In addition, Dr. Harry has received many other distinguished awards in recognition of his contributions to industry and society, like the Arizona State University Engineering Excellence Award. At the present time, Dr. Harry is Chairman of the Six Sigma Management Institute and The Great Discovery, LLC. As of recent, he has developed and launched the Fourth Generation of Six Sigma, which is called The Great Discovery. Whereas the first generation was focused on quality improvement, the second generation was aimed at cost reduction while the third generation focused on the creation of value.
