The beloved childhood television host, Fred Rogers, would have turned 85 years old yesterday, but his impact on early childhood education will never fade. His show, “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood,” ran for three decades, during which he inspired millions of people to find friendship in their neighborhood, and millions of children to find happiness in even the smallest places.
One of our speakers, Dr. Allen Mallory, is one of the most in-demand speakers on child care in the country. His natural sense of humor paired with over 30 years of experience in all areas of child care are what make him a successful and endearing speaker. His experience with children includes being an aide, teacher, director, author, and professor. He is an active child advocate and serves on a number of childcare committees.
