The current unemployment rate in the United States is at 7.8% This means that around 12.1 million people are out of work, many of whom have been searching for a job for a long time and are probably wondering why they haven’t found one yet. It turns out that social media could be playing a role in their lack of success. According to a CNN poll, 70% of employers chose not to hire someone because of something they posted on social media. 
It is important to maintain a good online reputation and keep job news offline until you get the approval. We live in a digital age and your online identity can be as valuable as your resume to future employers.
