
Brad has over 25 years of experience facilitating the use of data for Continuous School Improvement with Education for the Future, a 501(c)(3) non-profit initiative at California State University, Chico. To help fulfill their mission to build the capacity of learning organizations to use data to improve teaching and learning, they have chronicled their work in 22 books over 25 years. They believe data analysis, with a strong shared vision, is necessary for true improvement to take place. Their work is focused on comprehensive data analysis for Continuous School Improvement, staff engagement and facilitation, systemic improvement, strategies for effective leaders, and long-term capacity building. Brad provides a variety of workshops both nationally and internationally, facilitates Data Institutes to help schools build their capacity to analyze their own data, and directs data services that include administration of thousands of questionnaires to integrate the perceptions of stakeholders into comprehensive data analysis. Brad’s wife, Beth, is an elementary school teacher and they have three children—Ben, Ella Jean, and Anna.
