Dr. Brent Wallace received his medical degree from the University of Utah and completed his family practice residency at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. He is board certified in Family Practice.
Brent E. Wallace, M.D. Chief Medical Officer is responsible for overseeing physician relations and medical affairs, coordination of the hospital based clinical programs and clinical services, supervising post-graduate medical education, physician leadership for design of clinical information system, over-seeing continuing medical education and research, physician contracting, medical consultant for risk management, clinical oversight of Life Flight (air transport system) and emergency preparedness.
Dr. Wallace has practiced family medicine for 26 years in Roy, Utah. He has served as Medical Director for Intermountain Home Care as well as several nursing homes. From 2001-2005 he was the chair of the Intermountain Medical Group Board. He has also held other leadership positions such as President of the medical staff and Chief of the Family Practice Department at McKay-Dee Hospital.
