Heather Wolpert-Gawron is an award-winning middle school teacher who also writes a popular education blog Tweenteacher. Heather also blogs for The George Lucas Educational Foundation’s Edutopia.org and The Huffington Post.
Heather Wolpert-Gawron is a member of the Center for Teaching Quality’s Teacher Leaders Network, and a Fellow of the National Writing Project. Heather is the author of ‘Tween Crayons and Curfews: Tips for Middle School Teachers. She has authored workbooks on teaching Internet Literacy, and her workbook series, Project Based Writing, are due out in 2013. In addition Heather is currently working on her second book, this one about Common Core and uncommon writing assessments across the disciplines.
In her spare time, Heather is a wife and a mom of two boys, Ben and little brother Samwise.
