Kevin Barber

When Kevin Barber was just 15-years-old he created a program, Wheels of Change, to employ and empower the homeless of San Diego. Over the past 3 years, many unsheltered members of San Diego have been employed and removed more than 180 tons of trash out of the City’s streets. The program continues to employ 20 people daily, who each earn $52 at the end of their work shift. As a result of his work, Kevin was recently nominated as one of CNN’s “Champions for Change.”
