LeAnn Nickelsen

LeAnn M. Nickelsen founded Maximize Learning with a passion for advancing education. She is the author/co-author of 10 books and delivers presentations nationally on: Differentiation, Common Core State Standards, Student Engagement, Poverty, Brain Research, Assessment & Grading, Literacy and many more – all based on cognitive theory, best practices and current research. She is known for presenting a wealth of information in an active, fun format with very specific, practical examples. Participants consistently rate LeAnn’s presentations as top quality based on her engaging style and the easy-to-implement classroom strategies. She is a parent of school-age twins and applies the research to the hardest jobs out there, parenting and teaching.
