Dr. Douglas Reeves

Dr. Douglas Reeves is the author of more than 30 books and 80 articles on education, leadership, and organizational effectiveness. His latest book, “Inspiring Innovation and Creativity in K-12 Education,” is based on an international study of how schools support – and sometimes undermine – creativity for students and teacher. Other popular books include “The Elements of Grading,” “Reframing Teacher Leadership,” and “Leading Change in Your School.”

Doug has twice been named to the Harvard University Distinguished Authors Series and was named the Brock International Laureate for his contributions to education. His volunteer activities include supporting doctoral students with free and non-commercial help at Finish The Dissertation, and providing individual assistance to disabled veterans who submit essays, poetry, and art to The SNAFU Review, for which Doug is the founding co-publisher and editor. Dr. Reeves has taught at every grade level, including teaching responsibilities in the US, Asia, and Europe
