
Emily Diehl is an Education Consultant for Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt, supporting schools and teachers in implementing strong instructional practices. Ms. Diehl is a national speaker and trainer in cultivating growth minded contexts in education at the classroom, school, and district levels.
Ms. Diehl contributes to the design and development of programs for students and to professional learning for educators. She is an author for programs for Mindset Works including Brainology®, Applied Brainology®, MindsetMaker™, and the LeaderKit. She also contributed to infusing growth mindset lessons in Houghton Mifflin Harcourt programs such as Read 180® and Math 180®. She authored a popular course on First Forward for the Fire Service, The Growth Mindset Performance Course. She is passionate about the growth mindset and how it applies to building capacity in leaders, workers, parents, and educators as well as in their students.
Ms. Diehl applies the most recent research in Social Emotional Learning, motivation and mindset to your context in instruction, assessment, leadership, culturally responsive teaching, and building relationships.
